On October 29, 2023, Pullman Officer St. Andre observed a vehicle fail to come to a complete stop at a stop sign. He initiated a traffic stop and the 22 year-old female driver admitted that she didn't have her driver's license with her. When Officer St. Andre asked her if she had been drinking, she admitted that she had been. She was asked to step out of the vehicle in order to perform standardized field sobriety tests (FSTs). This included a preliminary breath test and the result was 0.188% BAC. She was arrested and transported to the Pullman Police Station. She also submitted to an evidentiary breath test (EBT) and that result was 0.206% BAC. She was charged with DUI and given a court date of October 30, 2023.
