A tragic hit-and-run leaves a woman dead, prompting an immediate investigation and search for the fleeing driver. This bodycam footage captures an officer receiving initial details of what is referred to as a "poly accident," indicating a serious, likely fatal, collision. The incident involved a pedestrian in a wheelchair who was struck by a blue Subaru, which then fled the scene, with the victim subsequently being run over by two additional vehicles. Three days after the incident, the driver of the initial vehicle, a young woman described as having long, dark brown hair and clear-framed glasses, voluntarily surrendered to authorities. She admitted to fleeing due to fear and because the vehicle was borrowed. The suspect faces charges for leaving the scene of a fatality collision and was booked into a detention center. --- Transparency through the lens of the law.
