On 01/10/2025, a Florida Highway Patrol trooper was stationary southbound on State Road 91 (Florida Turnpike) near the 139-mile marker in St. Lucie County when he observed a black 2017 Infiniti Q50 traveling southbound in the inside lane. The vehicle had a fully tinted windshield and a protruding rear bumper. The trooper followed the vehicle and attempted to catch up to it. As the Infiniti approached the 138-mile marker, also known as the Becker Road exit, the driver abruptly transitioned from the inside lane and exited State Road 91. The trooper caught up with the vehicle at traffic light. After the traffic light turned green, the vehicle traveled westbound on SW Becker Road. The trooper then initiated a traffic stop by activating his emergency lights and siren. The Infiniti stopped in the outside lane, blocking traffic. The trooper used his public address system and instructed the driver to move the vehicle into the left-turn lane so it would not obstruct traffic. The trooper then exited his patrol vehicle and approached the driver's side. At that point, the driver suddenly fled the traffic stop, making a U-turn and traveling eastbound on SW Becker Road. The trooper notified the Lake Worth Regional Communications Center that he was in pursuit, initiating the pursuit. 00:37 Traffic Stop 01:24 Pursuit 08:47 Pit Maneuver, Passenger Bail Out 09:58 Pursuit Continues 36:35 Charges, Case Disposition 36:50 After What He Did, the Perp Had the Gall to Throw a Tantrum
