On September 7, 2023, Rowan University Police Officers spotted a vehicle driving on a sidewalk within the campus boundaries. Patrolman Lehm initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and immediately noticed an open container of alcohol on the passenger floorboard. When a backup officer arrived, the 18-year-old driver was asked to step out of the vehicle to perform standardized field sobriety tests. She was subsequently arrested for DUI (and a whole slew of other charges) and transported to the Rowan University Police Headquarters. She submitted to an evidential breath test and the result was 0.08% BAC. Her charges and the outcome of her case are discussed at the end of the video.
