Please like, comment, and SHARE! 🙏 🔍 Episode Overview: On July 30, 2022, at approximately 3:14 AM, Officer Phil Longo from the Sparta Township Police Department noticed a dark Hyundai Tucson driven by 27-year-old Christine Aschoff closely following a dark pickup truck. He also saw that the Tucson was not staying in its lane. As Officer Longo got closer to the Tucson, he informed dispatch that he would pull over the vehicle in front of Sparta Eye Associates on Sparta Avenue and then initiated the traffic stop. As he approached the Tucson from the passenger side and asked for her documents, he quickly noticed a strong smell of alcohol coming from inside the car. The driver, Ms. Aschoff, handed over her valid license and registration. While she searched for her insurance card, Mr. Aschoff mentioned that she was returning home to Newton, NJ after visiting the Horse Shoe Tavern in Morristown, NJ. When he inquired if she had been drinking, Ms. Aschoff replied that she had had about two drinks. Eventually, the officer found the insurance card. During their conversation, he noticed that her speech was slurred. He then informed dispatch that he would require another unit to perform balance tests. During the Walk and Turn test, Ms. Aschoff took about 15 steps without turning, instead of the instructed 9 steps. She struggled to walk heel to toe, and Cpl. Lippencott had to catch her several times to prevent her from falling. Additionally, Ms. Aschoff did not perform the one-leg stand test properly. Due to the motor vehicle violations observed, the strong smell of alcohol on her breath, her admission of drinking, and her failure to complete the field sobriety tests, Officer Longo arrested Ms. Aschoff for driving while intoxicated. She was handcuffed, searched, and informed of her rights. At Police Headquarters, Ms. Aschoff chose to take a breathalyzer test. The Alcotest 7110 MKIII-C showed a blood alcohol content (BAC) of .15%, nearly twice the legal limit. Ms. Aschoff was informed of her traffic violations and her required court date. She also received copies of her drinking and driving questionnaire and the Alcotest report. She was issued several tickets: Driving While Intoxicated, Following Too Closely, Traffic on Marked Lanes, Careless Driving, and Failure to Notify the DMV of an Address Change. After processing, Ms. Aschoff was held at Sparta Township Police Headquarters until she was released to her friend Brett Schiller, who signed a Potential Liability Warning form. 13:05 probably the hottest officer I've seen!! 23:36 he said just those five! LOL isn't that enough? Note to YouTube Reviewer: This footage has been produced by law enforcement specifically for DUI Arrest Videos via FOIA (records have been paid by #DUI #Arrest Videos).
