Another unfortunate situation here where a 90 year old man was scammed out of almost $70k. This started from a fake email he got from PayPal , he contacted the number on the email and it was a call center in India. Thinking he was speaking to PayPal he let them access his computer. They made his bank account look like there had been 2 $69,900 deposits on accident and he was told he needed to return that money. They sent a courier multiple times to pickup cash from his home. He finally realized he was being scammed when they just kept requesting more money. He went to the police and they setup a sting operation where these scammers thought they were coming to pickup more cash. When the guy arrived he was arrested. If you have elderly family members please talk to them about these types of scams. These guys are targeting elderly folks everywhere and this type of scam is rampant. The suspect was charged with larceny and the authorities are working to get the victims money back. *suspects in these videos should always be considered innocent until proven guilty.
