A beach argument takes a violent turn when sand is aggressively kicked into a victim's face. The incident began when police responded to a report of a fight no longer in progress on a busy public beach. An employee indicated a physical altercation had occurred between two females, stemming from prior animosity over a shared boyfriend. The alleged victim, observed with visible scratch marks on her back, recounted being approached and having sand aggressively kicked in her face by the other woman, followed by further physical contact. A witness provided video evidence of the sand-kicking action, confirming the victim's account. Officers subsequently located the identified aggressor on a nearby sidewalk and, based on the witness testimony, video evidence, and observed injuries, placed her under arrest for simple assault. She was transported for processing, issued a summons, and released, while the victim was offered a Vine form to pursue a restraining order. --- Transparency through the lens of the law.
