On March 30, 2025, Franklin Township Police Officers were dispatched to a single car motor vehicle accident. The reporting party indicated that a vehicle jumped a curb and was partially in the woods. Officers located the vehicle and discovered the driver was passed out behind the wheel. Officers were eventually able to wake the 28-year-old woman who had vomited due to her level of intoxication. EMS was called and transported the woman to the hospital. Officers applied for and received a blood warrant. The woman was issued citations for Driving While Under the Influence, Careless Driving, Reckless Driving, and Failure to Provide Proof of Insurance. Her case is still open and her next court date is scheduled for August 13, 2025. All suspects are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
