A Nissan GT-R hit 175 mph running from Georgia State Patrol on GA-400 in Atlanta at 2:46 AM. The trooper posted the dashcam himself. This is what happened. On February 3, 2024, TFC Mathews of the Georgia State Patrol spotted a Nissan GT-R and a Dodge Charger Hellcat running side by side on GA-400 near Lenox Road. He activated his lights. The Hellcat pulled over. The GT-R did not. The GT-R hit 175 mph on a public highway in Atlanta at 2:46 in the morning. Multiple PIT attempts failed — physics prevented the angle required at those speeds. The suspect, identified as Desai, was charged with reckless driving and felony fleeing. Records from Forsyth County SO indicate the same GT-R did the same speeds on GA-400 the night before. He came back. TFC Mathews posted the full dashcam himself.
