On March 23, 2026, officers responded to a Walmart parking lot in Tennessee after a woman in her 20s allegedly confronted two women aged 65 and 70. Officers questioned those involved, examined conflicting accounts and visible injuries, and struggled to control the situation as the younger woman appeared intoxicated and allegedly resisted instructions. She faced two counts of battery against people aged 65 or older, resisting an officer without violence, and disorderly conduct; the charges remain allegations, not proof of guilt.
