He spotted a 2016 Hyundai Elantra parked on the shoulder near the 10.5 mile marker. The driver seemed to be sick, so he decided to pull over and check on her. When he approached, she confessed that she had been drinking earlier that night. Patrolman Herd also saw an open container of Truly in her car. Later, she revealed that she had been drinking at the Mason Street Grille in Lake Hopatcong, New Jersey. Patrolman Herd thought the driver might be drunk, so he called for another officer before doing any sobriety tests. Patrolman Paul Wenzel, Patrolman Erick Finley, and Patrolwoman Alyse Brown arrived to help. They started with the Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus (HGN) test, where Patrolman Herd noticed that the driver’s eyes didn’t move smoothly. He saw signs of nystagmus at the fullest point of eye movement and noted it started before reaching a 45-degree angle in both eyes. Next, they did the Walk and Turn test, and the driver struggled to walk in a straight line and couldn't count her steps out loud. Finally, during the One Leg Stand test, the driver couldn't keep her balance or count correctly. After admitting to drinking alcohol and struggling with field sobriety tests, Patrolman Herd arrested Stephanie for driving under the influence. Once in custody, Patrolwoman Brown conducted a search for illegal items, and Patrolman Herd drove her to Sparta Township Police Headquarters. At the station, Patrolman Herd explained the rules for operating a vehicle, and she agreed to take a breath test. The results showed her blood alcohol content was 0.15%, almost twice the legal limit. After processing, Stephanie was released to a responsible person who signed a liability warning form for her. She received citations for operating under the influence and careless driving. 0:19 of course she’s not driving she’s standing on the side of the road 1:11 RIP headphone users 19:50 loving that man's shirt it's not a dad bod, it's a father figure 24:12 Turn your head to your right points to her left If you enjoyed this BodyCamBust video .
