A late-night traffic stop quickly reveals signs of impairment, leading to a driver's arrest for operating under the influence. Around 11:37 PM, a witness reported an erratic driver in a black 2016 Jeep, leading Officer Stephen Buskiewicz to initiate a stop on Fair Lawn Avenue. Upon contact with the driver, a woman with long blonde hair, the officer observed indicators of impairment and inquired about her alcohol consumption, to which she admitted having two drinks. Due to safety concerns, field sobriety exercises were terminated early, and the driver was arrested for driving under the influence; a subsequent vehicle search uncovered an open container of alcohol, leading to the vehicle's impoundment. After processing, the driver pleaded guilty to operating under the influence and unsafe operation, resulting in significant fines, a three-month ignition interlock requirement, and mandatory attendance at an intoxicated driver resource center. --- Transparency through the lens of the law.
