On November 20, 2024, Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper Byron stopped a vehicle for traveling 84 miles per hour (MPH) in a 65-mph zone. The vehicle was being driven by a 24-year-old woman who admitted to consuming 2 cocktails earlier in the evening. She was asked to step out of the vehicle in order to perform standardized field sobriety tests. At the conclusion of the tests, she was placed under arrest for Operating a Vehicle Impaired (OVI). She was transported to the Ohio Highway Patrol post where she agreed to submit to a breath test. The result of her breath test was 0.201% BAC. Her charges and the outcome of her case are discussed at the end of the video. Online court records indicate she has an active arrest warrant for failing to follow the terms of her probation.
