After a driver was observed operating a vehicle erratically and without headlights, an officer initiated a traffic stop. During contact, the officer noted signs of impairment, including incoherent speech and the odor of alcohol. Field sobriety exercises were administered, which the driver struggled to complete, exhibiting poor balance and an inability to follow instructions, even singing the alphabet. Following these observations, the individual was arrested for driving under the influence.
