On May 7, 2023, Damián Ríos ran a stop sign and fled police when pursued. He proceeded to run multiple red lights, stop signs and drove over 100 mph. After losing control of his car, he hit a church head on. Ríos was arrested for reckless driving, DUI and fleeing from law enforcement. All videos and case documents were obtained using Florida's Public Records Request process. Defendants are considered innocent until proven guilty.
