buymeacoffee.com/BlueLineLens On September 5, 2024, at approximately 7:15 a.m., Police Officers Aaron Font and Shawn Sodora responded to the 1400 block of Garden Street on reports of an individual trespassing and sleeping inside the hallways of a residential building. When they arrived, they found the person, later identified as 48-year-old Zailong Jin with no known address, sleeping behind a door. An on-scene investigation revealed Jin regularly trespasses in the same building. When he was asked to stand up, he refused and continued to be defiant toward officers who informed him he could not be in the building. When he was told he was being arrested, he refused to stand up and pulled his arms away, and tensed up, to avoid being handcuffed. He was eventually placed under arrest. Police Officers Teddy Santiago and Alexander Miller arrived on the scene to assist. Jin was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters and charged with defiant trespassing and resisting arrest. He was processed and released with a summons. These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. #trespassing #news #crime
