On March 23, 2025, Elmwood Park Police Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident. The at-fault driver was a 23-year-old woman who blamed the accident on her vehicle stalling unexpectantly. Officers did not believe her story and suspected she was under the influence. After being checked out by EMS, the woman was asked to perform standardized field sobriety tests. She refused to listen to the instructions be given, so the tests were stopped prematurely and she was placed under arrest. At Police Headquarters, she refused to submit to a breath test. Her long list of charges and the outcome of her case are discussed at the end of the video.
