A woman called deputies after her boyfriend shoved her into the kitchen. Two kids were in the room. Then he walked back on his own and told police she asked for it. On June 7, 2025, Yates County deputies responded to a domestic call on Twin Oaks Drive in New York. The woman inside reported head and arm injuries and said two children had witnessed the incident. The man, Anthony Cranmer, 46, had walked off before deputies arrived. When deputies located Cranmer, he was handcuffed and placed in a patrol vehicle. Before they asked him anything about the incident, he brought it up himself. After being read his Miranda rights, he admitted the push and claimed she had told him to do it. Cranmer was charged with third-degree assault, second-degree harassment, and endangering the welfare of a child. He was held at Yates County Jail pending arraignment in Yates CAP Court.
