Here are the red flags in this case: 🚩 Told her to tell no one 🚩 Asked for payment through Zelle and PayPal 🚩 Sent her to the bank to withdraw thousands in cash 🚩 Told her to keep the phone on speaker, hold it low, and ignore the teller’s questions No legitimate agency will ever do this. Law enforcement will NEVER call you about missed jury duty, a warrant, or a family member in jail. We will never ask you for money for any reason. If you get a call like this, hang up.
