Going to jail in Las Vegas is a quick reality check for tourists and locals alike who think the rules do not apply to them. This look inside the Clark County Detention Center booking floor shows exactly what happens when intoxication, anger, and defiance collide with corrections officers just trying to do their jobs. From high-rolling prostitutes explaining their business plans to combative DUI suspects fighting mandatory blood draws, the intake processing area is a non-stop revolving door of chaos. Watch as officers handle out-of-control courtroom disrupters, aggressive shoplifters, and volatile domestic violence suspects who find out the hard way that fighting the law is a losing battle. For many of these inmates, a long night in an isolation cell is the only thing that can force them to sober up and face the heavy legal consequences waiting for them in the morning.
