On August 17, 2024, Strongsville Police Officer Schubert was participating in a community relations event. He was showing the department's bearcat to the neighborhood at a block party, where the street was blocked off with barricades. The 33-year-old driver of a silver SUV drove around the barricades and hit a mailbox. Officer Deuley arrived to administer field sobriety tests to the woman. She was arrested for drunk driving. It was also discovered that she had a failure to appear warrant for theft. She was transported to the North Royalton police station for the administration of a breath alcohol test. The result was an astonishing 0.344% BAC. Her complete list of charges is discussed at the end of the video. Her case is still open and all suspects are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
