On March 23, 2025, St. Charles Police Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident. Officer Gaske observed that the 25-year-old driver of the at-fault vehicle had slurred speech and bloodshot eyes. Based on his observations and the driver's explanation of how the accident occurred, Officer Gaske asked the woman to step out of the vehicle. Due to extremely high winds and very cold temperatures, the woman was escorted to a nearly Thai Roll Ice Cream store in order to conduct standardized field sobriety testing. At the conclusion of the testing, the woman was asked to blow into a portable breath testing device. The result was 0.157% BAC. She was placed under arrest and was transported to the St. Charles police station, where she submitted to an evidential breath test. The result of that test was 0.144% BAC. Her charges are listed at the end of the video. All suspects are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
