On November 12, 2022, a reckless driver was observed on Interstate 275 (State Road 93) traveling southbound in the left lane at an extremely high rate of speed. The driver of a red Kia was observed tailgating other vehicles and making sudden lane changes without indicating. The driver even cut off a passenger vehicle causing it to abruptly slow down to avoid a crash. This erratic driving behavior put the safety of other motorists at risk and prompted the FHP trooper to take action. The FHP trooper attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the Kia due to the reckless driving pattern observed. However, the driver failed to stop and instead tried to evade the police. The driver continued driving at high speeds, weaving in and out of traffic and causing the motoring public to make evasive actions to avoid collisions.
