An officer's suspicion of impairment escalates during a roadside interaction after a disabled vehicle is found with a flat tire. Sergeant Matthew Gajewski initiated contact with a driver whose SUV had a flat tire, quickly detecting slurred speech and the odor of alcohol. Despite the driver's denial and refusal to provide documents, the officer proceeded with field sobriety exercises. The driver struggled significantly, failing to follow instructions during the Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus test, repeatedly moving her head, and exhibiting poor balance during the Walk and Turn and One Leg Stand tests.
