Beware of the ‘Gypsy jewelry’ scam: Scammers may approach you in parking lots or at gas stations, claiming they need money and offering ‘real gold’ jewelry at a discount. They may use props like luxury cars, children, or accomplices to seem credible. The jewelry is usually fake, sometimes marked as gold but actually worthless, and in some cases, scammers may try to swap it with your valuables. Always stay alert, don’t buy on the spot, and protect your belongings. Credit Pedro Kinlaw
