It really helps us do original reporting like this. 🔍 Episode Overview: At approximately 7:23 PM on June 20, 2024, Officer Ryan Champouillon from the Asbury Park Police Department responded to a reports of a car crash near Fourth Avenue and Grand Avenue. Upon arriving, he saw that a 2023 Ford Bronco had hit a 2024 Buick LeSabre. He talked first to the driver of the Bronco, identified as Marissa Falco. Then, he spoke to the driver of the Buick to get his details. When Officer Champouillon returned to Marissa, he noticed the smell of alcohol and saw signs she might be impaired. She denied drinking earlier that day, but it was clear she was not sober. Because of his suspicion, he asked her to perform field sobriety tests. The first test was the Walk and Turn. Marissa struggled to touch her heel to her toe, made improper turns, and showed poor balance. Next was the One Leg Stand. She failed to lift her foot correctly, didn’t count properly, and put her foot down too early. Due to her role in the crash, the smell of alcohol, and her poor performance on the tests, Marissa was placed under arrest for DWI. Her vehicle was then taken and held for 12 hours under John’s Law. The other vehicle involved also had serious damage. Officer Champouillon took her to the Neptune Township Police Department. There, she was read her rights and agreed to take breath tests. Officer Richard Brogley used an Alcotest machine, and her blood alcohol content was found to be 0.30%. This is nearly four times the legal limit of 0.08%. After processing, she was released into her sister’s custody, pending court, after signing a warning about her potential legal costs. The officer also issued Marissa two tickets: one for operating a vehicle while drunk, and another for careless driving. Court records show she was arrested for DWI before, back on May 7, 2011, in Ocean Township. 7:22 the officer didn't even get her in the starting position 9:17 Drunks always think they’re killing it 9:24 I absolutely LOVE her reaction about being under arrested for DUI!!! 11:04 are you joking? 24:05 did she say "you actually never even told me my veranda lights?" 30:57 If you didn’t let her have all her stuff 35:36 she just can't chill and get over the fact that she can't have her phone If you enjoyed this BodyCamBust video.
