On April 7, 2023, Bowling Green Police Lieutenant Skaff observed a vehicle traveling with no headlights on. He initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and the 20-year-old woman admitted to consuming alcohol at a bar without presenting an ID. After performing the horizontal gaze nystagmus test, Officer Sehlhorst decided to transport her to the police station to continue the field sobriety tests. She was then asked to submit to an evidential breath test (EBT). The result was 0.08% BAC, which is 4 times the legal limit for someone under 21. She was arrested for DUI, issued citations, and released to her sober boyfriend. Her specific charges and the outcome of her case are discussed at the end of the video.
