On July 4, 2024, the 27-year-old driver of a white Honda made a U-turn in front of Orange County Sheriff's Deputy Bradford. She then proceeded to change lanes directly in front of Deputy Bradford without using her turn signal. Deputy Bradford honked his horn at the woman, which prompted her to stop her vehicle. As a result, Deputy Bradford pulled behind the woman and initiated a traffic stop. He claims the woman had glossy eyes and that he could smell alcohol coming from her. Thinking that the woman might be a "signal 1", police code for a drunk driver, he turned the investigation over to Officer Rivera from the University of Central Florida Police Department. The woman was asked to step out of her vehicle in order to perform standardized field sobriety tests. During the tests, she claimed she was "12 months pregnant". After the tests, she was placed under arrest for Driving Under the Influence. She refused to submit to a breath test. The outcome of her case is discussed at the end of the video.
