Watch a tense encounter unfold as an individual repeatedly refuses officer commands and vehemently denies substance use amidst escalating frustration. This incident began with a 911 call reporting a person trespassing and disrobing in a residential area. Upon arrival, officers observed the individual, a woman matching the description, attempting to flee on foot from the patrol cruiser. Despite repeated commands from the loudspeaker, she ignored orders, discarding items from her purse as she ran towards a nearby residence. Officers noted signs of possible substance influence and incoherent behavior, raising concerns about her condition and public safety. The situation escalated as officers attempted to detain her. The individual displayed significant resistance, including inserting her hand into her clothing, shouting profanities at bystanders, and even sitting down in traffic before being physically guided into the patrol vehicle. The verbal exchange captured in this footage highlights her persistent refusal to comply and angry denials of intoxication, illustrating the complexities officers face in de-escalation. She was subsequently transported to the local detention facility and charged with Disorderly Intoxication, Criminal Trespass, and Resisting Arrest.
