On July 24, 2023, Boardman Township Police Officer Zorzi observed the driver of a vehicle commit a marked lanes violation. He initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle, which was being driven by a 21-year-old woman. The police report indicates that Officer Zorzi could smell alcohol coming from the vehicle. He asked the woman to exit her vehicle in order to perform standardized field sobriety tests (FSTs). Upon exiting her vehicle, she admitted to consuming alcohol. However, she refused to participate in the FSTs. She was then told that she would be placed under arrest for Operating a Vehicle Impaired, which set of a chain reaction that lasted for hours (the video has been edited for time). The woman refused to get into the police vehicle, then refused to keep her body parts in the vehicle so the door could be closed, and at the end of the video she refused to exit the vehicle. In between, she spent hours screaming, insulting, and kicking the officers. She was charged with a long list of felonies and misdemeanors.
