On November 25, 2024, Union Township Police Officers were dispatched to a traffic collision. While enroute, callers were reporting that the driver of the at-fault vehicle was attempting to flee the scene. However, she had driven onto the yard of a nearby residence and her car became stuck. When Officer Reardon arrived, he was greeted by an off-duty Hamilton County Sheriff's Deputy who was able to obtain the 24-year-old woman's temporary Ohio driver's permit. Officer Reardon handcuffed the woman and placed her in the back of his patrol vehicle. The woman claimed she was unable to speak English well enough to understand field sobriety testing. She was eventually transported to the Miami Township police station for a breath test. The result of her two breath samples were 0.186% and 0.184% BAC. Several hours later, the woman was released to a sober relative. Her charges are discussed at the end of the video. Her case remains open and all suspects are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
