This driver did not get his request request granted before the PepperBall deployment. On May 15, around 5:15 p.m., a PCSO K9 unit was assisting Arizona Department Of Public Safety troopers as they were following a stolen vehicle. The vehicle failed to stop for state troopers when they attempted to pull him over. The deputy disabled the stolen vehicle with a Grappler Police Bumper. The driver was turned over to the Arizona Department of Public Safety. The passengers said the vehicle was a rideshare, and they were on their way to graduation in Tucson. A PCSO Patrol Posse volunteer gave the women a ride the rest of the way to the ceremony. Want to work for an agency that gives its deputies their own discretion?
