As officers arrived, they observed and pursued the suspects' white sports utility vehicle speeding away. The pursuit was captured from multiple angles. At one point in a parking lot, a police cruiser intercepted the suspect vehicle, prompting two suspects to immediately bail out and flee on foot over a fence, with an officer giving chase. Seconds later, a different police cruiser attempted to block the fleeing SUV and was involved in a head-on collision. All three suspects were arrested following a short foot pursuit, and officers recovered a firearm at the scene. The three suspects—Aquille Kadeem Malcolm, 27, Roy Joseph Gouveia, 24, and Miracle Osamuyi, 24—were charged with multiple offences, including Robbery using a Restricted or Prohibited Firearm, Disguise with Intent, and Personating a Peace Officer. All three were reportedly bound by judicial release orders for unrelated offences at the time of the incident.
