On September 29th, 2022, a Police officer was running radar on Main St., facing westbound near Rozanne Drive in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin when he observed a tan sedan traveling at a high rate of speed. The officer attempted to catch up to the vehicle but was unable to obtain a radar lock. As they approached the downtown area, the vehicle slowed down to the posted speed limit, but on three different occasions, the vehicle crossed the center line and entered the opposite traffic lane. The officer then activated his patrol lights and sirens near an intersection, but the vehicle continued to drive until it reached a solid red light. When the officer approached the vehicle, he observed a single occupant who was later identified as Tyrone Harris. The officer smelled a strong odor of intoxicants coming from the vehicle and observed that Harris had extremely bloodshot eyes and was slurring his speech. The officer asked Harris to obtain his driver's license, but he continually pulled out a membership card from his pocket instead. Harris was unable to focus on obtaining his driver's license while answering the officer's questions and became verbally combative. At this time, Harris put the vehicle into drive and sped off at a high rate of speed. This video was obtained through Public Records Requests.
