Two years ago, we were the ones who needed help. Several agencies showed up for us. That's exactly why teams like our Hurricane Deployment Team exist. They train every year, ready to move when a community needs them most. As we head into hurricane season, make sure YOUR plan is in place before a storm ever has a chance to form. Florida law enforcement agencies operate under mutual aid agreements, pledging in advance to send help when a community is overwhelmed during an emergency.
