Cop N Con watch in: "Who knows better about surprise than Japan?" President Trump just stunned the press corps and PM Sanae Takaichi during a White House briefing. When questioned on why he didn't give allies a heads-up before the joint U.S.-Israel strikes on Iran, Trump invoked the 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor as the ultimate lesson in the "element of surprise." While the room reacted with a mix of laughs and shocked silence, the President doubled down on his strategy, claiming that keeping the mission a secret is exactly why the U.S. managed to knock out 50% of its targets in the first 48 hours. Is this a brilliant military mindset or a diplomatic nightmare?
