So this guy setup a bank account online using a fake ID, he then tried to deposit a $1 million check in person into that account because it would not allow him to do so through the app. The bank told the guy they were going to have to put a hold on the check and the funds would not be immediately available. The bank quickly learned that this was a fraud situation and using their facial recognition software they knew for 100% that he was using a fake ID. Clearly they were not going to make any funds available to his account and called the police. He then goes back to the same bank a week later because the funds from the fraud $1 million check were still not available to him.. The teller knew about the situation and called the police. The suspect quickly left the bank after sensing that they might have called 911 on him. He was found at a nearby gas station and taken into custody. It's unclear if the check was fake or he had stolen it from someone.
