On August 12, 2023, South Brunswick Police Officers were dispatched to conduct a welfare check on a woman suspected of being under the influence. The 38-year-old woman's vehicle had become disabled with 2 flat tires. Officers suspected the woman had been drinking, so she was asked to perform standardized field sobriety tests. She was then placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated and transported to the South Brunswick Police Station. She refused to submit to an evidential breath test and was released to the custody of her father. Her charges and the outcome of her case are discussed at the end of the video.
