A police officer in Ohio was working a part-time security job at a grocery store when he noticed a man walking in with a plastic bag. The man casually picked up some items and attempted to leave without paying. When the officer confronted him, the situation escalated into a physical altercation. The suspect managed to get the officer in a 'guillotine choke' hold, a dangerous move that can quickly cut off blood and air flow. Two bystanders intervened, helping the officer escape the chokehold and subdue the suspect. The man was later charged with felony assault on a police officer and robbery, among other charges. This video captures the intense encounter and the quick thinking of the bystanders who came to the officer's aid.
