On December 21, 2025, Rio Rancho Police Officers responded to a report of a vehicle that had crashed into a fence. Officers arrived to find the 26-year-old driver sitting on a nearby curb. She immediately and spontaneously uttered that she was driving impaired. Officer Salido was called to conduct a Driving While Under the Influence (DWI) investigation. While performing field sobriety tests, the woman demonstrated that she was extremely impaired. She was placed under arrest and was transported to the Rio Rancho Police Station. She provided two breath samples, which registered 0.21% and 0.20% BAC. Her charges and the outcome of her case is discussed at the end of the video.
