On April 16, 2024, Port Orange police officers responded to a neighborhood after terrified residents reported a man waving a gun and threatening to “put a hole” in them. As officers arrived, a gunshot rang out, and they rushed toward the source — a house where 32-year-old Brett McPeek stood calmly behind a fence, holding two cold beers. Bodycam footage captures the bizarre standoff as McPeek asks officers, “Can I crack this beer?” while they shout commands with weapons drawn. Seconds later, he pops the can open — even as officers prepare to move in. He eventually surrenders peacefully, but when police searched his home, they found two handguns, including one matching a recently fired round. McPeek, who had a history of arrests, was booked into jail and charged with three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, three counts of assault on a law enforcement officer, and using a firearm while under the influence of alcohol. 📩 Contact Complaints, takedown requests, video submissions, or business inquiries: 📧 realbodycamlegend@gmail.com 👉 If you enjoy real police bodycam videos and true crime cases, LIKE this video and SUBSCRIBE for more raw encounters, dramatic arrests, and crime caught on camera every week.
