On February 10, 2025, Marion County deputies responded to a reported Walmart theft involving Jared Morrison and Heather Davis. Deputies later spotted their white van, but the pair allegedly fled, leading police on a short pursuit that ended when the van crashed into a barbed-wire fence. Both suspects then ran from the vehicle. Morrison was quickly caught, while Davis was later found hiding in a field with help from Air-1 and K-9 Gunner. Deputies said both were arrested on multiple charges, including retail theft, drug possession, and resisting or fleeing law enforcement.
