On October 14, 2022, Belmar Police Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident. When Sgt. Allen made contact with the 25-year-old female driver of one of the vehicles, she immediately gave him attitude. Sgt. Allen located multiple open containers of alcohol in her vehicle and ordered that she be handcuffed and arrested. She defiantly claimed that blood could not be drawn from her without her consent, but Sgt. Allen notified her that he would be applying for a search warrant. She was transported to the hospital to await approval from a judge. The police report indicates that a blood draw was conducted and the result was 0.19% BAC. Online court records show she had a previous DUI conviction stemming from a 2019 DUI arrest. Her charges for this latest arrest and the outcome of her case are discussed at the end of the video.
