A wife believes she has found the perfect way to kill her husband—and that detectives will never be able to trace it back to her. This is the police interrogation of Ina Thea Kenoyer, the North Dakota woman convicted of murdering her boyfriend, Steven Edward Riley Jr., by poisoning him with ethylene glycol, a toxic chemical commonly found in antifreeze. Investigators alleged that money was at the center of the case. Steven believed he was about to receive a massive inheritance, and prosecutors said Kenoyer intentionally poisoned him before his death. But when she sat down with detectives, she offered explanations for what happened while investigators began confronting her with the timeline, evidence, and inconsistencies in her story. What follows is a fascinating interrogation involving poisoning, an alleged multimillion-dollar inheritance, changing explanations, and detectives methodically testing Ina's version of events. Watch as the interrogation unfolds and investigators work to determine exactly what happened to Steven Riley.
