This guy was allegedly running a counterfeit scam at various Home Depot stores in East Texas. In this instance he was purchasing expensive items at one Home Depot with counterfeit $100 bills ( really poor quality fakes ), then he drove around 30 miles to another Home Depot and tried to return those items with the receipt for a cash refund. Apparently he didn't know that these stores could communicate with one another about the fraud/scam. He was arrested not only for this crime but he had multiple other warrants throughout the state for similar crimes. Update: This is apparently a new type of scam that's going on everywhere and for some reason all these people are targeting Home Depots....I'm not sure if they have a reputation for not checking $100 bills or what. It sounds like they aren't even using high quality counterfeit bills and they are able to buy very expensive items with it at HD. ( heard of one case where someone bought $20k worth of stuff in one trip using fake hundreds ) *Suspects in these videos should always be considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
