On October 26, 2024, Ohio State Highway Patrol Sergeant Nihiser stopped a vehicle for speeding. The vehicle was being driven by a 21-year-old woman. When asked how much alcohol she had consumed, the woman responded with "not much". As a result, she was asked to step out of her vehicle in order to perform standardized field sobriety tests. At the conclusion of the tests, she was placed under arrest for Operating a Vehicle Impaired (OVI). She was transported to the Highway Patrol Post where she agreed to provide breath samples. She provided two samples and the lowest reading was 0.21% BAC. Her charges and the outcome of her case are discussed at the end of the video.
