Police bodycam footage shows a stolen van pursuit in Palm Coast, Florida that ended in a crash and two arrests. This real body cam video captures the police chase, the grand theft auto arrest, and the interrogation where the passenger insists she slept through the entire thing. On June 30, 2023, Flagler County deputies located a stolen Chrysler minivan taken from a driveway overnight, the owner had left the key under the front seat. When deputies moved in, the driver took off, crossed a median, and wrecked the van on the parkway. In the passenger seat was 26-year-old Veronica Brady, who told deputies she had been asleep since Saint Augustine and had no idea what was happening. Brady refused to answer a single question until deputies pulled her red Jordan fanny pack out of the van. When the detective finally opened it, he found receipts belonging to the burglary victims, along with an emergency window breaker and a seat belt cutter. "I was also asleep in that vehicle for a couple hours," she told him. He wasn't buying it. [0:00] The stolen van call [3:50] The crash on the parkway [9:47] "What am I being charged with?"
