Officers in Oak Park, Illinois responded to a local bar after staff reported two customers causing a disturbance inside the bathroom. What seemed like a straightforward removal quickly escalated when the two women refused to leave — and the situation turned violent. As officers attempted to escort the women out, one of them charged at a bar employee. When officers stepped in to intervene, one officer was struck directly in the face. The bodycam captured the chaotic moments that followed — emotional outbursts, resistance, and both women ultimately placed in handcuffs. Inside the squad car, one of the women maintained she was the victim — swearing on her grandmother that the employee hit her first. Officers reviewed the bar's surveillance cameras to piece together exactly what happened. By the end of the night, Jabry was charged with felony aggravated battery to a police officer and misdemeanor criminal damage to property. Her friend was charged with misdemeanor battery. This footage serves as a reminder of the split-second decisions officers face — and the consequences that follow when a night out turns into a criminal record. All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. This video contains raw bodycam footage for educational purposes.
