When this woman’s rental car was towed, she allegedly decided she wasn’t going to pay the fee or wait for anyone’s permission—she was getting it back herself. Police say she entered the tow yard, moved a tow truck blocking her escape, rammed the gate with her car, and pepper-sprayed the tow truck driver who tried to stop her. But when officers finally detained her and searched the vehicle, they discovered this situation was much stranger than a simple dispute over a towed car. This bodycam encounter escalates from an attempted vehicle recovery into multiple serious criminal charges—and every new detail raises even more questions. All individuals are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
