Please like, comment, and SHARE! 🙏 🔍 Episode Overview: On the night of November 23, 2022, around 10:00 PM, Bridgewater Police responded to a car accident involving two vehicles near the Finderne Fire Department in Bridgewater, New Jersey. Officer Duffy spoke to the driver of a 2016 Honda, identified as 29-year-old Samantha Camacho. During the conversation, he noticed a smell of alcohol on her. The driver of the other vehicle reported that Camacho's car had hit his vehicle. Samantha claimed she was not impaired and that the open White Claw container found in her vehicle was not hers. When Officer Duffy noticed the damage on the front of her car, Samantha stated that it was not connected to the recent accident with another vehicle. However, Officer Duffy pointed out that he had seen damage on the rear bumper of the other driver's car, which likely resulted from Samantha's car hitting it. Officer Duffy suspected that Samantha might be impaired, so he gave her the chance to do some field sobriety tests. His partner, Officer Geisel, started with the Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus (HGN) test, which showed signs of possible impairment. After that, Officer Duffy conducted the Walk and Turn and One Leg Stand tests. Samantha did not follow the instructions properly or perform the tests as required. Following the traffic accident, Officer Duffy arrested Samantha for driving under the influence due to an open container of alcohol found in her car and her inability to perform the field sobriety tests correctly. At the police station, Samantha accepted a breathalyzer test. After she was processed, her mother arrived to sign the Potential Liability Warning form for her. However, Officer Duffy needed to take Samantha to the hospital for further evaluation before her release.
